Year 3 class Rowan at Ringshall School have been designing their own board games.
The class received a letter from a ficticious product manager from Hamleys who was looking for inspiration for next Christmas’ new board games. The class set about researching games, deciding on materials and writing detailed instructions so that anyone could pick up the game and start playing.
Class teacher Andrew Stevens said: “We had games about trying to get to school on time, games about collecting names for puppies and jail break type games. It crossed the culriculum with elements of design technology, literacy, maths and science.”
