Property firm born out of Suffolk County Council welcomes new business manager

Trained accountant Sarah Cossey has joined Concertus, formerly Suffolk County Council’s corporate property division, as business manager.

Sarah will be taking care of business development and managing the company’s finance and budgetary controls.

She started her career by training as an accountant at Scrutton Bland, where she progressed to be Audit Senior. Since then she has led finance teams at Top That! Publishing, and John Woods Nurseries where she was part of the senior management team, reporting to the board.

Sarah, who holds FMAAT Accounting Technician and IOSH Managing Safely qualifications, has been responsible for producing audited financial accounts in excess of £10 million turnover.

Andrew Rowe, Managing Director at Concertus commented on the new appointment “We are delighted to welcome Sarah to the team. This is a milestone appointment for Concertus as it is the first in our new guise”.
