Police investigating a burglary in Red Lodge are trying to trace the driver of a van seen at the property.

The burglary was between 7.30pm on Saturday September 7 and 11.45am on Sunday September 8 in Jasmine Road.

A door was forced and a large number of valuable items were reported stolen including jewellery, antiques and electrical equipment.

Police would like to speak to the driver of a van seen parked behind the property on the Saturday. It is described as a white Transit-sized vehicle with blue sign writing on the side, which was believed to be something like ‘moving’ and ‘man’, with a picture of a man carrying a box.

The van is thought to be from the Brandon area and the driver is described as a white man in his mid-twenties with brown hair.
