Police are issuing images of two men they would like to speak to following two attempted thefts of items from a supermarket in Bury St Edmunds.

The first incident was at about 4.30pm on Thursday, January 21 at Sainsbury’s, in Bedingfield Way.

The second was at about 8.30pm on Saturday, January 30 at the same shop.

In both cases the men entered the shop and filled their trolleys with high value goods.

Staff became suspicious about their behaviour and when spoken to they abandoned the trolleys and left.

Anyone who can identify the men in the images or who has any further information relating to the incidents are asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting crime reference 37/14038/16 (21 January incident) or 37/15849/16 (30 January).
