Police in Forest Heath are appealing for information after a number of businesses in Eriswell were broken into.

The burglaries took place overnight between Monday September 8 and Tuesday September 9 at the retail premises in Earlsfield.

The offenders forced their way into four units breaking open safes and tills and taking a cash box.

In two instances they left empty-handed, but from the other premises stole cash to a combined total of just over £200.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information about these crimes.

Calls should be made to Sgt Anna Whybro at Mildenhall Police Station on 101 quoting reference MH/14/1486, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
