Break out your pink costumes to join in the 10th annual Suffolk Breakthrough Walk on the Westside charity event.

Suffolk Breakthrough are on the hunt for teams to join in the fun at this years walk at Ickworth Hotel and Ickworth House National Trust parklands, Horringer.

Organisers Bonk Tasker and Penny White are seeking the ‘best dressed team’.

Penny said: ”We always have fun prizes for individuals and felt a team prize would be a great idea – there’s also prizes for the best and worst behaved dog!”

The Suffolk Breakthrough ‘Walk on the Westside’ was a huge success last year and the 10th anniversary celebration event on Thursday 14 May 2015 promises to be even better – raising vital funds and awareness for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Penny White, joint organiser and volunteer for Suffolk Breakthrough Breast Cancer Group, said “We are so grateful for all the continued support we receive from local retailers and business; their donations help us create a luxury raffle that adds significantly to the amount raised.”

Bonk Tasker, who originated the walk in 2005, said: “I want to say a massive thank you to Albany Interiors Ltd, Ickworth Hotel, The National Trust and Stephen John hairdressers for sponsoring our event.”

Walkers can choose to walk four or 11 miles with lunch at Ickworth Hotel included. The event costs £35 each and dogs on leads are welcome. To register visit
