This week’s photograph was taken at a cowboys and Indians pow-wow in August 1981.
The event, a wild west fete at Sapiston and Honington village hall, was held to raise money for the villages’ summer holiday activities, a scheme which was started the previous year.
The themed day raised more than £135 to take local children to the seaside.
A barbecue, pony rides and a rifle range were among the day’s cowboy-style events, with children also encouraged to dress up by the promise of sweets.
