This dressed-up group was photographed by the Bury Free Press in April 1984.
The ‘young savers’ from Lloyds Bank, in Bury St Edmunds, were taking part in a sponsored exercise bike marathon on the steps of the town’s Corn Exchange.
The event, organised by the Round Table, attracted eight teams from the area and was estimated to have raised between £650 and £700 on the day.
The teams had to see how far they could pedal in 45 minutes.
Round Tablers set the pace by pedalling all day and clocking up a total of 267 miles between the 25 of them.
The prize for the most miles was awarded to Barber-Greene, which clocked up 30.63 miles.
Other teams taking part included Music Sales, The Heron Club, Whiting and Partners, the Ladies Circle, Boots and J Mann and Son of Saxham.
