New parking restrictions at West Suffolk House in Bury St Edmunds come into force on Tuesday.
People using the car park will have to display a free to park ticket which gives them a 90 minute window. After that they will be fined up to £70.
The ticket is linked to the vehicle’s registration and after the 90 minutes no further tickets will be issued. Further parking is available in Olding Road.
The changes come after people have struggled to park at the front of West Suffolk House which is home to the borough council, Suffolk County Council, Forest Heath council and the West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning group. Special arrangements will be made for those attending development control meetings.
