STUDENTS at County Upper School, Bury St Edmunds, are again aiming to raise thousands for charity with their annual Charities Week.
This year they are holding a series of events in school for Unicef, Macmillan Cancer Support, Help for Heroes, Gatehouse Caring in West Suffolk and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
A new activity will be a Ladies’ Pamper Evening tonight at the school organised by Beth Lebbon, 18, from Great Barton.
It will feature make up, nail care, foot and hand massages and a massage chair.
Tickets are £2 and the evening runs from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, with an auction from 8.30pm.
Other fund-raisers in school during the fortnight, which runs until next Friday, include County’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, a dodge ball event and Gladiators.
