TWO men who are most familiar with running a business, swapped their work shoes for trainers to run in London’s Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon.

Neil Sandry and Daniel Mead, two senior managers at Knights Lowe Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, on Moreton Hall, joined 12,500 runners from 30 different countries for the event on October 9.

Their efforts raised more than £3,000 for mental health charity Mind and Breast Cancer Campaign.

Starting and finishing in Hyde Park, the marathon featured a scenic 13.1 mile route through four of London’s Royal Parks and past some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.
