Two years ago we introduced the Customer Care Award to recognise the individuals or companies who go the extra mile to look after customers.
The first winner, in 2014, was Kevin Wilcox, a waiter at Prezzo in Bury St Edmunds, who was so popular with customers that when he died after a cardiac arrest in February 2016 it resulted in an outpouring of grief on social media.
Last year it went to L Fulcher Funeral Directors, who were nominated by families grateful for their support in difficult times.
If you know of a worthy successor deserving of the Bury Free Press Customer Care Ward 2016, now is the time to nominate them.
It might be an individual like Kevin, who cared about people and had a phenomenal memory for faces and names, helping him to make everyone feel special.
Or you might want to nominate a company, like Fulchers, who impressed you with excellent service when you needed it most.
Have you come across shop assistants who took extra effort to ensure you got exactly what you needed, or restaurant staff who went out of their way to make a special occasion extraordinary?
