Bosses at West Suffolk Hospital have bought 10 new wheelchairs to lighten the load for porters.

The lightweight equipment has been paid for with £5,500 of charitable funds. Neil Herbert, moving and handling advisor at the hospital, said: “The portering service plays a major role in the smooth day to day running of many of our services. We felt it vital to provide them with the best available equipment to help them carry out their daily duties.”
