PUPILS at a new Free School are sure to look the part after its new uniform was unveiled.

When the IES Breckland School opens on September 10, students will don grey blazers emblazoned with the IES logo and trimmed with the new colours of blue and purple.

Sherry Zand, principal, said the uniform had been developed with price and everyday use in mind.

“It’s affordable and practical and as it’s smart, it prepares the children for what they will need to look like in the world of work,” she said.

Ms Zand also took the chance to praise the Brandon community.

“The support we’ve had is phenomenal and we wouldn’t be where we are without it,” she said.

The school must go through a pre-Ofsted report before it opens.

Prior to that, personnel from RAF Lakenheath will be helping the school get started when it gets the keys to the building on August 1.
