Maureen McDonald-Cooke has joined Suffolk Housing in Bury St Edmunds, as housing services manager for sheltered and supported housing.
Maureen McDonald-Cooke has joined Suffolk Housing as housing services manager for sheltered and supported housing.
She takes responsibility for managing a dispersed team working across Suffolk and Norfolk, delivering services, mainly to older tenants.
Maureen brings 30 years’ experience in frontline customer roles and has worked within both the public and private sectors.
She comes to Suffolk Housing after four years at the Broadland Housing Group, where she held several roles including neighbourhood officer, manager for older person’s services, housing partnership manager and area manager for general needs and supported housing.
“I am passionate about supported housing,” said Maureen.
“I’m really looking forward to developing a team which will shape our supported housing services and ensure they are robust enough to meet the challenges which face our business and our tenants in the future.
“I am also delighted to be part of Suffolk Housing at this exciting time of growth and will be striving to ensure all of our customers and partners receive an excellent service.”
