A new development proposal has been submitted for a former stud in Kentford.
The last planning proposal submitted in regard to Meddler Stud was rejected by a planning inspector last year.
A new proposal submitted by Clive Damsell on behalf of Meddler Properties Limited proposes building a 20 box race horse training establishment, with trainer’s house on the site alongside 63 homes.
The former proposal made by Ms Ann Gurney, on behalf of Meddler Properties Ltd and Agora Developments Ltd,was for 102 homes.
It was refused by the planning inspector because unsuitable for the village and would be detrimental to the horse racing industry.
The application will be determined by Forest Heath District Council.
