Buses passing through Thetford will be using a new multi-million pound interchange from Sunday, March 1.
They will be moving from Bridge Street to a purpose built £3.88 million interchange between Minstergate and St Nicholas Street.
The nine-month project to transform the industrial site, led by Moving Ttetford Forward has included repairing and restoring the Grade II-listed warehouse building which formerly housed Cosy Carpets.
The interchange includes five bus stands, electronic information to show departures, and a suite of travel information including comprehensive timetables.
A self-service information point will provide web links to travel information, tourist information about Thetford and information and services provided by Norfolk County Council and Breckland District Council.
From March 31, a drop off car park will also be available to the public and the new toilet block will open.
Bus timetables will change from March 1 and again on March 31. Passengers are advised to check with Traveline, Coach Services or National Express to find out how their bus services are affected.
