Organisers of a business conference in Bury St Edmunds on have teamed up with a charity.
The StartUP Suffolk conference will be opened by Lord Tebbit at the Apex on Monday (14) and will offer help to new and existing small businesses who the life blood for the growth of our economy.
Now StartUp Suffolk has teamed up with the Crack On! charity.
Profits from the conference will go towards its jump start scheme which will see business seminars for 16-25 year-olds – every eight weeks.
The seminars will give advice on the legalities of setting up a business as well as book-keeping, product development, marketing and help getting business loans.
“There just aren’t enough jobs out there for young people that offer real training or prospects.
“So it is clear there is a need for them to consider starting up their own business,” said Crack On! co-founder Mark Byford.
