A FUND-RAISING day of music is being staged tomorrow in Risby to help raise funds for the Sarah Applin appeal which is aiming to provide specialist equipment at West Suffok Hospital.
Sarah died at just 32 after being struck down with swine flu and died just weeks after her son was born. She was cared for in the intensive care unit at the hospital and now friends and family are aiming to raise £25,000 for a specialist bed for the unit.
Tomorrow will see bands and DJs coming together at the White Horse in Risby for a day of music and fun.
Starting at noon, it will fetaure Renegade, Scare the Normals, Minute Stakes and Savage Rehab as well as DJs, Sgt Magoo and Matt D as well as face painting, a bouncy castle and barbecue.
