AN MP has spoken ahead of the release of his first book of how working in the West Suffolk area has changed the way he sees the world.
Matthew Hancock, MP for West Suffolk, has co-authored Masters of Nothing with fellow MP Nadhim Zahawi, set to be released on Monday.
The book is an assessment of how human behaviour influenced the global economic crash in 2008 and Mr Hancock said his work with constituents had impacted on the way it was written.
“The scale of the problem is very clear when I’m here in West Suffolk and when I talk to local businesses who can’t get loans from banks for what are very good projects.
“I hear the concerns and complaints on the ground and it has changed how I’ve approached things,” he said.
