Motorcyclist who died in Great Barton collision named as Liam Jolly from Bury St Edmunds

Police have named the man who died following a collision on the A143 in Great Barton at the weekend as 42-year-old Liam Jolly from Bury St Edmunds.

Emergency services were called at 11.50am on Sunday, June 7, to reports of a collision between a Range Rover and a motorcycle.

Liam Jolly, of Moreton Hall, who had been riding the motorbike, sadly died at the scene.

Police are continuing efforts to trace the driver of a blue Vauxhall, thought to be a Corsa, who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

It is believed that this car may have been overtaken by the motorbike prior to the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who believes they may have seen any of the vehicles prior to it, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting reference CAD 182 of 7/6.
