A man was taken to hospital last night following a collision between a motorbike and a car in Fornham All Saints.

A blue Audi A4 and a Honda CBR 600 were involved in a collision in Tut Hill, Fornham All Saints, at around 9.40pm.

The road was closed at both ends, from the A1101 Mildenhall Road and the Westley Roundabout, while emergency services dealt with the crash.

The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, was treated by a volunteer doctor from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) charity and paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service.

A spokesman for SARS said the man ‘sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his knee and shoulder’ and was transported to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, for further examination.
