A MOTHER and son have teamed up to raise money to beat alzheimers.
Carol Archer, 46 and son Kian, nine, of Jubilee Road Lakenheath, have organised a midnight walk around the village to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Kian decided he wanted to raise money for the society after a close family relative was diagnosed with the condition.
He and Karen sat down and decided that a sponsored walk at midnight would be a novel fund-raiser.
Karen said: “We want to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s and bring it to the forefront a little bit more.”
The midnight memory walk will take place on June 29, setting off from the Pavilion and covering as much of the village as possible.
Carol and Kian would like people to dress up in their pyjamas and take their families and pets along.
