MILITARY police are investigating allegations that a soldier was sexually assaulted by three servicemen at Wattisham Air Station.
The base, near Needham Market, is home to Army Air Corps Apache helicopters that have been involved in recent conflicts including Afghanistan.
Prince Harry, who recently passed his co-pilot gunner training with flying colours, is stationed at the base.
A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said action would be taken against any serviceman who did not live up to the Army’s high standards.
She said: “As there is an ongoing investigation into this allegation it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
The MoD would not confirm whether the 27-year-old prince – Captain Wales – was at the base at the time of the incident.

The MoD spokeswoman added: “Action will be taken against all those who fall short of the Army’s high standards.”
