SUFFOLK based watercolourist, Mita Higton is hosting her first one-woman exhibition at The Edmund Gallery, Bury St Edmunds between September 15 and 20 at 10am to 4pm.

Multiple award-winning Mita started her watercolour journey in the Middle East, in the early 1990s and her love for watercolours has remained constant. The East Anglian ‘big’ skies, light and landscapes have proved wonderfully inspirational for her.
Mita enjoys painting impressionistic, abstract and vibrant pieces, offering a creative and dramatic depiction of the beautiful coastline near her North Suffolk home.
To add to her current achievements, Mita has had one of her painting selected by the Society of Women Artists to be part of their exhibition at Mall Galleries in London later this year.
She has exhibited at the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists and the Norwich and Norfolk Art circle. For more, go to www.artsumitra.co.uk
