English Architectural Glazing (EAG) in Mildenhall, has been appointed as a subcontractor on a £14.7 million project to build the Essex Business School at The University of Essex in Colchester.

Morgan Sindall has appointed EAG as specialist building contractor, to provide a feature timber curtain wall.

The building has been designed by BDP Architect to be carbon neutral and showcase renewable technologies in action.

It is due to be completed by next Summer.

Edward Whipp, pre-construction director at EAG, said: “We welcome this first and future collaboration with Morgan Sindall.

“This adds another landmark scheme to out established educational portfolio.

“We expect our work to commence on site in November.”
