A Bury St Edmunds based marketing agency has expanded into new premises and created 20 jobs after landing a £2million funding deal.

Precision Marketing Group, which has a turnover of nearly £10 million and employs 70 staff, has moved from Boldero Road to a revamped 25,000 square-foot unit, in Lamdin Road.

It has led to the creation of 20 new roles including digital developers. The move follows a £2 million finance package through NatWest and RBS Invoice Finance

With the increase in space, the company, which is nearly 20 years old, has launched a new healthcare products business, Precision Healthcare, supplying natural medicines to pharmacies and health food stores. It has also received further funding from the bank’s asset finance arm to purchase new equipment and invest in renewable energy sources.

Matthew Caldwell-Nichols, managing director of Precision Marketing Group, said: “The team at the bank were very proactive in outlining that they would be prepared to lend us when we were considering the move.

“Thanks to their support and that of our funders, we can now develop our services - with our sights set on doubling turnover within the next five years. Most importantly, the building is a place we can call home for years to come and will see us through another 10 years of growth.”
