The chief executive of Thetford manufacturer GlassGuard, David Payne, says the passing of its latest audit ‘Demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality’.
Glassguard manufactures Europe’s widest range of fragment retention lamps.
It has passed an annual ISO 9001:2008 audit inspection.
Lamps made by the firm are treated with a technologically advanced coating which means if they break, the broken glass is retained within the coating.
The firm also said it was ‘Instrumental’ in setting the manufacturing benchmark for shatterproof and glass retention lamps.
“Our continous improvement methodology ensures that we can provide products of exceptional value and that our customers and stakeholders receive a consistently high level of service,” said Mr Payne.
