Man gets taken to hospital after injury with circular saw

A man was taken to hospital this morning after being injured by a circular saw at his Barningham home.

The 41-year-old man received deep lacerations to his thigh during an incident at around 10.15am, which involved a hand-held circular saw.

A volunteer doctor from emergency medical charity Suffolk Accident Rescue Service was called to assist paramedics in treating him.

He was taken by ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
