Man denies Mildenhall murder

A Mildenhall man has denied murdering another man at an address in the town.

Andrew Turner, 49, of Pembroke Close appeared today at Ipswich Crown Court.

He is charged with the murder of Paul Bone, 40, of Trinity Avenue, Mildenhall who died during the early hours of December 20.

Emergency services were called to an address in Pembroke Close but despite the efforts of paramedics Mr Bone was declared dead at the scene.

Turner who spoke only to confirm his name and to plead not guilty was told by Judge David Goodin that he will continue to be remanded in custody.

Turner’s trial is due to begin on June 16 and is expected to last for up to a week and a half.
