Man bailed after break-in in Bury St Edmunds

A man from Bury St Edmunds who was arrested following a break-in at a business in the town has been granted bail.

Police responded to reports of suspicious behaviour at the property in Northgate Avenue shortly after 11pm on Sunday.

A man, aged 40, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (PIC) for questioning.

He has since been bailed to return to Bury PIC on July 24, pending further enquires.
