A man who was arrested last night on suspicion of causing grievious bodily harm has been bailed.
Police officers were called at around 7.20pm to an altercation involving three men in Ashwell Road, Bury.
Two of the men sustained minor injuries, one to his neck and the other to his arm, as a result of the incident.
The third man, a 20 year old from Bury, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and taken to Bury Police Investigation Centre.
He was released on bail and is due to return to the Investigation Centre on Tuesday December 9 pending further enquiries.
