A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a sexual asault in Bury St Edmunds as police continue to appeal for information.
The man, from Hackney, was arrested over the weekend and released on police bail until Friday May 16 following the incident in which a woman reported being sexually assaulted in the town on Saturday April 5.
The incident is believed to have been between 7.15pm and 7.45pm in an alleyway off Churchgate Street.
Police officers made anniversary checks in Churchgate Street on Saturday April 12 from 7pm to 8pm.
They spoke to about 60 people but police continue to appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
