Louise Bell, 42, from Bury St Edmunds, had her long hair cut by Dani Whiteman at hairdresser Gavin Ashley on Friday in aid of the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer.

Mrs Bell said: “The response to my fund-raising has been immense, with both local people and local independent businesses helping me to raise a whopping £2,000. Peoples generosity has been astounding.”
