Woman injured in car collision

A woman has suffered a suspected fracture to her pelvis and a broken thumb after being involved in a collision with a car in Drinkstone.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called at 9.38am to the incident, in Rattlesden Road.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “The woman who is in her 60s, was taken to West Suffolk General Hospital where she is in a stable condition.”
