Young people on the Springboard course at West Suffolk College have been travelling back to France in the 1800s to bring the tale of Beauty and the Beast to Apex audiences this week.
Written and directed by course director Marianne Beamish the production features lavish costumes and clever props as Beauty played by Briagha Grant and the Beast - Harley Hannem meet and share their experiences.
Students danced to some of their favourite music and there was plenty of fun and laughter as young people aged 16 and over with learning disabilities showcased their dramatic skills.
Marianne said: “Our audiences have grown by word of mouth. We are delighted to use the Apex. Performing here is a fantastic experience.”
