Washing machine stolen from West Row house as victim looked on

A man has stolen a washing machine from the driveway of a West Row house while the victim looked on.

Police have said that at about 10.30am yesterday a man reversed a white Transit van into the driveway of a house in Pott Hall Road, where the washing machine was stood.

The victim confronted the man as he loaded the washing machine into the van and he swore at her.

The man also asked a postman standing nearby for the post he was carrying, which the postman refused.

The man is described as white, 5’8’’ tall, in his early 20s, of slim build with blond hair. He wore a white tank top.
