A woman was taken to hospital this morning after a two-vehicle crash in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called to the accident involving an Iveco van and Peugeot 208 at around 7.30am.
It happened in Bedingfeld way, at the entrance to the Moreton Hall industrial estate, outside Homebase.
Motorists reported a police cordon in place between Matalan and Homebase, with traffic being diverted down Easlea Road.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said an ambulance and a paramedic officer treated a woman in her 50s.
“She wasn’t seriously injured but was taken to West Suffolk Hospital as a precaution,” he said.
