Thirteen-year-old Jamie Robinson is among hundreds of people due to take part in Thurston’s annual fun run on Sunday.
As with last year, when he raised more than £200, he will be running in aid of the Cardiac Risk in the Young charity in memory of Stowmarket High School pupil Lily Webster, a family friend who died of Sudden Death Syndrome in 2012.
Fun run organiser Peter Skoyles said he hoped this year’s event would be the biggest and best one yet, with more people having pre-registered than ever before.
Registration is at Thurston’s New Green Centre from 10am.
Both races, the 10km and 3km, will start at 11am.
