Teenage girl punched and robbed in Thetford

Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old girl was robbed in Thetford last night.

The incident occurred sometime between 10.30pm and 11.45pm.

The girl was walking alone along an alleyway between Staniforth Road and Pine Close when an unknown man punched her several times in the face and body before taking her purse.

The girl was left with bruising and extremely shaken by the incident.

The man is described as white, in his late 20s, slim build and approximately 6ft tall, clean shaven, with short dark hair, a wide mouth, with chubby lips and long finger nails.

He is believed to have been wearing a black hooded top.
