Football fans are being offered the chance to test their talents against former Ipswich Town Football Club legends in a charity football match.
The match to be played at Ram Meadow, Bury St Edmunds, will raise funds for West Suffolk Hospital’s Forget-Me-Not dementia campaign and the ITFC academy.
Dave Gooderham, fund-raising manager at the hospital, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Ipswich Town to offer football fans a unique chance to line up against their heroes during this special charity football match.
“Anyone who doesn’t fancy pulling on their boots on the day will be more than welcome to come along and watch the teams in action while supporting some fantastic local causes at the same time.”
The 17 places on Forget-Me-Not FC are available to over 16s for £100 and will be filled on a first come first served basis from 9am on Monday.
Two further places on the legends team will be auctioned off with bids starting at £200.
Kick off is 3pm on May 18 tickets, £10 for adults and £5 for children, will be sold on the day.
