Suspected drug activity in Bury St Edmunds

A warrant was served under the Misuse of Drugs Act on a property in The Vinefields, Bury St Edmunds, on Tuesday, resulting in a number of arrests and police seizures.

Cash and mobile phones were seized and two men from London, aged 23 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and money laundering.

They were bailed to return to Bury Police Investigation Centre (PIC) on March 5.

Earlier this month, on January 8, a 15-year-old boy from London was arrested at the same property on suspicion of money laundering.

He was bailed to return to Bury PIC on February 10.

All have been given conditions not to enter the county of Suffolk, except to answer bail.

On January 12, a 16-year-old boy from London was arrested in The Vinefields on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

He was bailed to return to Bury PIC on February 11.
