Suffolk artist Steve Higton will host a solo exhibition at The St Edmund Gallery on Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds from April 6 to April 11 from 10am to 5pm.
He paints, primarily in oils, and his work depicts much of the coast and landscape of Suffolk and has been influenced by artists of the past including Edward Seago.
Steve has won several awards for his art including the Society for All Artists (SAA) chairman’s award in the artist of the year awards 2011 and 2012.
He also won best landscape, best professional sea and waterscape in the same awards while he won best in show at the Framlingham Art Society Show in 2011.
Two of Steve’s paintings are in The House of Lords as part of its permanent art collection.
