More than 20,000 people have laughed and heckled their way through Aladdin at the Theatre Royal this festive season, with many describing it as the ‘best panto they’d seen in years’.
The pantomime’s cast have come to the end of their 79 performance run and are thrilled to have added fun to people’s Christmas’.
Among the 2,500 people who filled the stands was 10-year-old Stella Pusterla, who won the Panto Poster Competition and had her image featured on the front of the programme.
As well as receiving a special signed programme Stella joined the cast on stage for a cheerful sing-along.
Next year’s pantomime will be Cinderella. The star of the show visited Bury with her fairy godmother on Saturday to announce that tickets are on sale.
