Pupils, parents and staff at Westgate Primary School, in Bury St Edmunds, have transformed a garden which was a mass of weeds into a thriving outdoor learning environment.

Items including plants, shingle, bark and a willow hut were donated by Ridgeons, B&Q and Mike Ayres, of Design Stanton.

Nursery nurse Veronica Day, who initiated the project, said the whole school would benefit.
