Two young mums are inviting runners to sign up to help raise funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

Hannah Hodgson and Alison Cronk are putting on a series of runs in 2014 for the children’s hospices and are organising two at Ickworth Park on April 27, one of 10k and one of 5k.

They are aiming to raise around £15,000 during the year which will ‘fund a day’ at each of the three hospices run by Each.

The duo have set up ‘hoohaah’, which runs events in National Trust parkland and in the last two years have raised more than £35,000 for chosen charities.

Last year a 10k run at Ickworth raised money for the British Heart Foundation.

The two women began organising events for their local primary school before forming ‘hoohaah’ and the Ickworth runs have already realised £1,000. Alison said: “Hannah and I are both runners and ran together socially. We run on National Trust land and as we have eight children between us children’s charities are close to our hearts.” To sign up for the run go to www.hoohaah.co.uk
