The Fox and Hounds in Thurston hosted its popular annual conker championships on Sunday.
The event, now in its fourth year, saw 32 contestants battle for the title.
After a fiercely fought competition, pub regular Gary Reeve came out on top and was crowned king conkerer.
Pub manager Amelia Woozley said the competitors were handed their conkers on the day to make sure there was no cheating.
She said: “The pub was packed with people on Saturday for the championships.
“It went really well, everyone had a great time.”
