Pooches are signing up to patrol the streets and help lower crime rates across Forest Heath.

Dogs and their owners have been signing up to a police scheme. Their owners will report anti-social behaviour and crimes seen when out walking.

Those who attended sign up sessions hadhad the opportunity to get their dogs microchipped for free courtesy of the Dogs Trust. They also received a complimentary doggy bag and also a health check from a veterinary nurse.

This month dogs have been signed up in Brandon, Mildenhall and Red Lodge.
