Police have released an e-fit likeness of a man they would like to identify after a vehicle was tampered with in Gazeley.

The vehicle parked on a driveway, in Moulton Road, was entered between 7pm on Monday August 18 and 10am on August 19 but nothing was stolen from within.

A man seen in the area around the time is described as white, tall, a slim build, aged in his 40s with ‘scruffy’ brown hair and wearing shorts.

Police are linking the incident to others in the area during the same time period.

Two cars parked in the road and on a driveway have been entered, in Tithe Close, where an amount of cash was stolen from both.

This is also being linked to a burglary, in The Street, Gazeley, between 2am and 8am on Tuesday August 19.

Three sheds were also burgled at a property in Mill Road between 10.30pm on Monday 18 August and 5am on Tuesday 19 August. Nothing was stolen.
