Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to trace in connection to a number of fuel thefts from filling stations in Forest Heath.

More than £290 of fuel was stolen from four filling stations in Newmarket and Barton Mills between January 20 and February 4.

On January 20 fuel was stolen from a filling station in High Street, Newmarket. On January 22 a filling station Eastbound on the A14 at Newmarket Heath was targeted. On January 24 a theft took place on the A14 Westbound at Newmarket Heath and on February 4 a filling station at Fiveways roundabout, Barton Mills was targeted.

The man police would like to speak to is described as white and aged in his twenties. He is described as wearing a grey hooded top and a hat, in the CCTV image above.

The vehicle used is described as a blue, older style Volkswagen Polo/Golf, which has been using stolen number plates.
